Many of them work and also study outside the city, which requires them to return to their hometowns when Eid al-Fitr has arrived.

Apart from the homecoming tradition, of course, there are many things that must be prepared. This is because going home is not a close distance so it requires some preparation. Some of the preparations for both the vehicle and the conditions for travelers must really be prepared. Do not let your homecoming unsuccessful due to poor health conditions. Of course, there are some tips for safe and comfortable family homecoming so that your homecoming is memorable, as we present below:

Get in top condition

The first tip that you must do is to prepare your body to stay in prime condition. However, going home requires a fairly long journey and also takes quite a long time, even up to several days. For that, you need to pay attention to various nutritional intake as well as nutrition and your sleep pattern. Try to meet your daily needs by eating nutritious foods so that the body can easily fight germs or viruses that come from outside. Of course, when going home, you don’t want your fast to be canceled in the middle of the trip.

To keep your body in good shape, of course you need to pay attention to your rest time every day, so you don’t want to stay up late which will harm your health. This is because if the body often stays up late, it will be very easy for us to feel tired and sleepy. If the condition continues, this will cause you to lose focus when driving a car and motorbike. You can also take vitamins and minerals to meet your needs so you don’t get sick easily. Get enough sleep so that your body is healthier and also fit because you have traveled quite a distance.

For those of you who use public transportation services, you should order tickets 1 month before Eid because before Eid the tickets will run out quickly.

If you intend to use the train, then you should book in advance 3 months in advance. As for plane tickets, you can book 1/2 month before going home. This is because if we book at a close time, then don’t be surprised if the ticket has run out at a price that is quite expensive than usual. So, choosing the type of vehicle that you will use for homecoming is a preparation that must be done in advance.

Apart from this, bookings made in advance will save us more money because ticket prices are still affordable and there are still many. For those of you who plan to go home using a private vehicle, check it first at least 2 or 1 week before planning to go home. Don’t forget to bring vehicle documents and don’t let the vehicle you use for homecoming exceeds the required capacity.

Get supplies

Supplies are indeed the most important thing that you have to prepare. During the homecoming trip, of course you are required to prepare various supplies such as personal medicine, toiletries and other equipment. Bring only the necessary items, for example, a few pairs of clothes and how long it will take you to go home. Of course, you can separate the items that will be used during the trip.
