Help Your Little One Eating Sahur

Help Your Little One Eating Sahur

Bella Julianti February 11, 2021

One of the challenges and struggles of parents during the month of Ramadan in facing their children who are fasting is the difficulty of waking their little one up during the meal.

This often makes parents feel frustrated how to make their children easily wake up and asked to eat sahur.

Because many parents are worried that their baby who has just fasted and skipped the meal will make the disease attack his body, especially digestive problems such as gastritis or gastric disease. In addition, it is not uncommon for us to be discouraged when your little one complains of being weak or unable to withstand hunger when it’s just the middle of the day.

This is what makes parents often worried when their little one is difficult to wake up to eat sahur. Not to mention, the difficulty of your little one to be awakened often makes them fussy when asked to come to the dining table and gather together with others to immediately eat their food. Let alone finishing the sahur menu, it feels like opening both eyelids will be quite difficult for them.

If the mother keeps reminding them to immediately eat their food, the little one turns to be more fussy and complains that they are still sleepy so that in the end it will be very difficult for your baby to eat their meal.

Even though you have done all the ways so that your little one can at least be eager to spend his food so that his energy is maintained for the 14 hours he will live. But in fact, let alone being able to finish everything that was served on his plate, it seemed that the drowsiness and fuss had robbed him of his appetite and made him lazy to finish what was served on his plate.

This of course will continue to make mom worried and uneasy. Mind that poppet will not be strong enough to carry out fasting often makes mothers confused about how to persuade their children to be able to eat their food hungrily.

In fact, sahur is an important activity as a source of energy and nutrition supply during fasting for almost 14 hours. Even though children are still in the fasting learning stage, whether it’s fasting in full or half a day, they still have to be accustomed and disciplined not to leave their sahur time just because they are still sleepy.

Then what tricks can be done to make your little one more eager to eat his meal? So some of these things will help you find solutions more easily, let’s look at them below.
