It’s just that when you are at home, ants are often a very annoying problem, when there is a sweet food or cake that is only slightly open, the arrival of the ants who always flock directly to the food, this often makes us confused where to store food so as not to be surrounded by ants. But in fact, for those of you who know the tactic of storing food so that it doesn’t get surrounded by ants, is to put it in a clean place and keep your place of residence clean.

Make sure all rooms in the house are kept clean, especially some rooms such as the kitchen, room and living room. The arrival of guests and finding ants lining your living room wall, of course, is an embarrassing sight. For that, make it a habit to always clean all the rooms to keep them clean and make sure there are no food scraps scattered on the floor, to prevent ants. But apart from the above methods, some of the following ingredients can also secure your food supply from ant invasion. Placing the following materials in a place where ants often pass will keep the ants away from that area.

1. Chicken Egg Shell

Chicken egg shells can be used as a potion to repel ants from the food places that he often visits. The trick, roast chicken egg shells until they are blackish in color, then remove and mash until they become smooth like coffee. Next, sprinkle this mixture to the place you want to keep from the reach of the ants.

2. Vinegar Acid

The pungent smell of vinegar can be used as a potion to repel ants so they don’t keep coming to the house. The trick, spray vinegar on areas that are often traversed by ants, or also spray on the ant nests, the strong smell of vinegar can kill more ants in the nest.

3. Cucumber

Did you know, it turns out that ants don’t like the smell and taste of cucumbers. For this reason, placing cucumber slices in areas that are frequently traversed by ants will be an effective way to repel ants from the reach of the food you are serving.

4. Washing Soap

In addition to its function of cleaning dirt on clothes, the fact is that soap functions to break down the wax layer of the outer framework found in ants, so that when the ants smell the detergent, this will cause the ants to become dehydrated.
For that, if you want to get rid of ants from the house and the food you serve, then apply laundry soap to the entrance of the ants and also spray a detergent solution where there are lots of ants.

5. Betel leaf

If you find betel leaf, it is always used as a potion for old people to chew. Now you can use the benefits of betel leaf to repel ants. The trick, simply knead the betel leaf and place it in an area where ants don’t want to go to it. The strong aroma of the betel leaf will dislike the ants and force them to stay away from the area.

Watching ants line up on the walls of each room is not an interesting sight. Moreover, if the ants invade the food that is about to be served, this will reduce the appetite. For that, getting rid of ants early is the best way for you to do.
