The first time this Corona or Covid-19 virus infection occurred in Wuhan, China and now it has spread to various countries, including Indonesia.

Diligently Wash Your Hands Cleanly

The number of victims infected by Corona virus made the whole community worried. Therefore, to avoid contracting the Corona virus infection, always maintain cleanliness, one of which is by diligently washing your hands thoroughly. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Washing your hands will clean your hands from various dirt, dust, viruses and bacteria. You can wash your hands for 20 to 30 seconds. Make sure your hands are washed thoroughly, including wrists, backs of hands, between fingers, and nails. If so, you can dry your hands using a tissue, hand dryer or a clean towel. However, if there is no soap or water, you can clean your hands using a hand sanitizer. You can use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

You should wash your hands regularly, especially before or after eating, after using the bathroom, after coughing or cleaning, after touching animals, after taking out the trash and so on. You also have to wash your hands before breastfeeding your baby.

Clean the Environment Around You

You also have to pay attention to cleanliness in the area around you. Besides paying attention to the cleanliness of the house, you also have to pay attention to the cleanliness of your office. Always make sure that the area around you is always clean. You can clean frequently touched objects such as desks, telephones, kitchens, and other objects.

Avoid Touching Surfaces That Many People Touch

As much as possible, minimize touching objects that are frequently touched by other people. Surfaces in public areas that are usually touched by many people, including fences, doorknobs, escalator handles and so on, have a great potential in spreading viruses and bacteria on your hands.

Knowing like that, it is better to avoid touching these surfaces directly. As an alternative way, you can use the tissue when you want to touch the surface.

Avoid Touching Your Face Using Dirty Hands

Avoid touching your face with dirty hands. If you want to touch this area, it is very important to wash your hands first. Dirty hands can spread bacteria and viruses. If your hands are dirty touching your eyes, mouth and nose, it can cause bacteria and viruses to enter your body.

Put on a mask

To prevent the transmission of the Corona virus, there are several types of masks that can be used, including surgical masks and N95 masks. This surgical mask is commonly used, namely disposable masks. This mask is affordable and easy to find, comfortable to use so that this mask is usually used for daily activities.

Pay attention to how to wear a surgical mask that is good and right. Where the colored side should face outwards, while the inside of the white mask faces the face, and covers the chin, mouth and nose. Where the white part of the mask is made from a material that can absorb dirt and filter germs in the air.

Even though the use of this mask is not entirely effective at preventing germs, at least this mask will reduce the risk of spreading diseases, including the Corona virus.

N95 masks are a type of mask specially made to filter harmful particles from the air. To prevent Corona virus infection, this mask is recommended. It’s just that, this mask is less comfortable if used for everyday, besides that the price is quite expensive.

Another thing that must be considered in using masks is how to remove them. Remove the mask on the face by not touching the front of the mask you are using. Because the front of the mask is full of bacteria or viruses that stick to it. If you have removed the mask, you must wash your hands thoroughly using soap and water. If there is no water or soap, you can clean your hands with a hand sanitizer.

Consider Vacation Plans

In the midst of this Corona virus outbreak, you have to reconsider your travel plans or holidays. Especially if you are planning to go to a country or area affected by this virus outbreak. In order to prevent transmission of this virus, you should postpone your trip in advance.

After Returning From Abroad You Should Stay At Home

After you have traveled from abroad or in areas affected by this virus outbreak, you should stay at your home. You must stay home for at least 14 days. Because the symptoms caused by the Corona virus will be seen after 2 to 14 days when a person is infected with the virus.

Rest at home if you are sick

If you feel sick, you should rest at home. You shouldn’t go to the office or any other place. This is done to prevent transmission of the disease to other people or you could even be infected by the disease and make your condition worse because your immune system is unstable.

We recommend that if you feel unwell, you should immediately see a doctor. The sooner you get medical attention, the sooner you will recover and recover.

Maintain Body Resistance

Maintaining the immune system is very important to do to prevent disease. To increase endurance, you can eat healthy and nutritious foods, as well as foods that can help increase endurance. If needed, you can take supplements as recommended by your doctor.
