Fasting in the month of Ramadan is an obligation of all Muslims. By fasting we do not eat or drink during the day or from sunrise to sunset. If you finish consuming takjil, then you can pause first before continuing to eat the main course. You can perform evening prayers first. The stomach needs time to work again after a day of fasting.

When the time to eat the dish arrives, you should eat it well and correctly, don’t overdo it and hurry. Enjoy every food you consume at that time. Chew food slowly so your digestive system can digest it easily. In addition, eating slowly is also the best way to control weight. Even though you are fasting, it does not mean that you ignore the body’s nutritional needs. During your meal, don’t consume food carelessly. Eat healthy and nutritious foods. This is also done to avoid consuming excess food when breaking the fast. When suhoor you have to meet the intake of fat, protein and complex carbohydrates. Don’t forget to drink enough water to keep your fluid needs fulfilled and don’t become dehydrated.
