Being dropped is one of the conditions that is quite frightening. Why not, this disease is one of the many causes of death that occurs in secret. The reason is, not everyone realizes that they have actually had diabetes for a long time. This may happen because in general symptoms of diabetes itself tends to be subtle and difficult to distinguish. Diabetes is a condition in which the body does not produce enough insulin to function properly and when sugar, starch, fat and carbohydrates become your enemies for good health.

So far, the only way to cure diabetes is to maintain a better diet and really monitor blood sugar levels. This is because what you eat has an immediate effect on your body. So so, when you eat randomly, the increase in sugar in the blood will keep happening. The pancreas that cannot produce insulin makes excess sugar in the blood not properly absorbed and controlled. Therefore, not controlling your diet may make diabetes worse.

Well, if you are a diabetes sufferer, below are some things that are important for you to pay attention to and be taken care of properly. Here are some things that must be of particular concern to diabetics.

1. Food

The food you consume on a daily basis is the first most important thing to pay attention to if you are a diabetic. It would be better to listen to all the advice from the doctor regarding what foods can and should not be consumed. A strict diet to avoid some intake of sugar, carbohydrates and fats may be your biggest challenge in this regard.

However, this is what will determine the health and condition of your body. In addition, never skip meals if you have diabetes. Not only will this make you feel weak, it can also lead to other health complications. For that, try to keep a healthy lifestyle, consume what you have to eat and avoid what is prohibited by doctors.

2. Sports

Diabetics are not allowed to be passive people who only spend most of their time lying in bed or just watching television all day long. You need to be as physically active and active as you can if you are a diabetic.

Physical activity will provide good benefits for the body. Therefore there is nothing wrong with doing light exercise or doing household chores that will ensure that you are active. Physical activity will not only help keep your weight under control but this will also help produce more insulin. You will also have more energy levels when you become more physically active.

For that, from now on try to go out and do your version of the sport. No need to do sports or movements that are too strong or even torturous. Simply taking a walk or jogging around your home environment is enough to help you move.

3. Be careful about your wound

Wounds that occur in diabetics generally find it difficult to heal quickly. This is of course different from those who do not have the same disease. If you get injured or scratch the skin of your own body causing a wound then you need to be careful with that wound. Don’t leave the area open and allowed to become infected.

Immediately do treatment with a doctor to monitor the progress of the wound until you have healed. The wound that is left untreated will probably spread and get worse. This condition generally makes most diabetics need amputation of the wound. This is done so that the wound does not spread to other parts of the body.

4. Treatment

It is just as important as the matter of consuming the right food at the right time. The consumption of drugs in diabetics also needs to be done properly and on time. Never underestimate taking drugs just because you are bored with all the pills and the bitter taste of the medicines you are taking.

Apart from eating and exercising, medicine is an alternative that will help you to keep sugar levels under control in your body. Always keep an eye on your blood sugar levels and visit your doctor regularly to find out if you should continue taking the same drugs or taking different medicines after the first one has been taken. In this way the doctor will be able to better monitor your health.

5. Resist the urge to smoke and consume alcohol

Alcohol consumption and smoking are not good ideas for diabetics to adopt. This is because in cigarettes it contains nicotine which if it is continuously inhaled, the nicotine will enter the blood and have a bad impact on your health. Likewise with alcohol which is just as bad.

For this reason, for those of you who suffer from diabetes you should not keep these two bad habits in your daily life. Alcohol and tobacco will only do real damage to your body if you are a diabetic. For that, do not immediately and whenever possible stop this habit to maintain your health and reduce the worst that will happen from diabetes that you suffer.

6. Not Consuming Junk Food

Junk food is a bad idea for health even if you are not a diabetic. These foods contain lots of calories and excessive fat which is certainly not good for health. The fat and sugar content in junk food is too high so it is not good for sufferers of diabetes. These foods are delicious and easier to get, but this convenience doesn’t balance the health risks you are risking. For this reason, avoid and throw away your desire to eat burgers, steaks, meatballs or other fast food.

It would be better to start replacing your various foods with foods that are much healthier and more beneficial. For diabetics, just vegetables and fruits need to be selected and selected properly because there are several types of vegetables and fruits that are not good for consumption. Especially for junk food, of course this type of food is not a wise choice to enjoy.

Those are the types of aspects that diabetics need to pay attention to in order to maintain their health and body condition so they don’t drop. By knowing some of the things above, it is hoped that you can provide better solutions for your health so that your diabetes does not get worse.
