Most people think that using contraceptives can make the body weight increase. This condition makes many married and postpartum women reluctant to use birth control pills and contraceptives.

However, this assumption is not entirely correct. The use of birth control pills and also contraception can certainly cause several different side effects. All types of birth control certainly will not make the body fat, but this depends on the body of a woman who uses it. Of course, every woman’s body has absorption from different contraceptives. Of course, the types of hormonal birth control currently used by women do not contain too many hormones in high enough doses so that the effects of weight gain are not too drastic.

The contraceptives currently used by every woman will not increase body weight. In addition, women who use birth control pills will make their body skin brighter, free from acne and also glowing, even in some women it can increase the volume of their breasts getting bigger. This condition will of course be different from every woman. Not all women who use contraceptives can get this effect.

In addition, there is an effect that is obtained by women who experience irregular menstrual cycles which actually make their menstrual cycles regular so that menstruation becomes smoother. Of course, hormonal birth control has a considerable influence in making the body bigger. However, not all hormonal birth control can have a significant effect on weight gain.

There are some non-hormonal birth control that cannot affect the condition of the body, but still have effectiveness in preventing pregnancy. Because it has no influence on hormones in the body, of course this type of contraception will not interfere with the times when you are breastfeeding. This non-hormonal contraceptive only blocks the sperm cell from meeting the egg. Non-hormonal contraceptives include diaphragms, condoms, IUDs, natural birth control and spermicides.

Of course, when you want to decide to use the contraceptive pill. One thing you have to do is choose the contraception that you really want. Do you want hormonal birth control or non-hormonal birth control. The choice of contraception is certainly very influential on the condition and condition of a woman’s body.
