Sufferers can experience this stage for 4 to 72 hours. Symptoms that can be experienced at this stage are headache in just one part or can occur on both sides of the head, blurred vision, throbbing head, dizziness, nausea and vomiting, and sensitivity to light, smell, sound to touch.

This is the final stage of a migraine. Occurs 24 hours after a migraine attack. At this stage the sufferer can experience mood swings, feel tired, have light headaches, and are sensitive to both light and sound.

Apart from magnesium supplements, you can get natural sources of magnesium from certain foods. Foods that are a source of magnesium include bananas, avocados, vegetables with dark green leaves, soybeans, nuts, salmon and so on. Not only magnesium, you should also meet your omega-3 intake.
