It cannot be denied that not all types of food and also drinks are good for pregnant women. This is of course what you consume greatly affects the development of the fetus in the womb. In addition, pay attention to the portion of your meal either at dawn or breaking the fast. Several types of foods that contain high calories include noodles, junk food, fast food and so on.

Raw or undercooked food

Whether fasting or not fasting, pregnant women are not allowed to eat raw or undercooked foods. Food that is not cooked thoroughly, of course, can be bad for health. This is because raw food can easily be contaminated with parasites or bacteria which are very dangerous for pregnant women. Raw food in the form of meat is of course very likely to contain listeria bacteria. This listeria bacteria is usually found in some raw poultry which, if processed, can cause miscarriage. In addition, raw seafood or undercooked eggs contain salmonella bacteria which can trigger miscarriage. Therefore, you are required to pay attention to every food processed either for the meal or breaking the fast. You don’t want to eat foods with a very low level of doneness. Foods high in sugar

It cannot be denied that when we break the fast, we often want a sweet iftar menu. As we know that sweet foods can make the stomach full faster and will last a long time in the stomach. You need to know that in mercury there is a substance called methylmercury which can bind to the proteins in fish muscles.

For those of you who are seafood fans, of course it is not surprising that seafood contains a lot of mercury. Of course, the fish that you eat can directly enter the body and have a negative impact on our health. This process causes mercury that is ingested to accumulate in the body so that it will affect pregnancy. Meanwhile, breastfeeding mothers will cause the volume of milk to decrease. In addition, the amount of meltimercury that has accumulated can be toxic to the nervous system so that it is possible to cause stunted growth and also fetal development. However, it does not mean that pregnant women should not eat seafood, but reconsider the right portion so as not to over-consume seafood. Instant noodles

The next food menu that is not allowed for pregnant women while fasting is instant noodles. As we all know instant noodles contain a lot of calories with a high enough MSG content. MSG is known as a substance that can interfere with fetal nerve growth so that it can trigger neurological disorders in children at birth. Therefore, pregnant women are not allowed to consume instant noodles because they can have a negative impact on the health of the pregnant woman’s body.
