Men fear when facing childbirth

When you are about to give birth to your baby, it is undeniable that sometimes some husbands experience some kinds of fear which can make them feel confused and anxious. The first fear is fear for the safety of the mother and baby. When doing the process giving birth normally, the bet you are giving to give birth to the baby is your life and your husband may well be aware of it. Even though he may not show his worries and fears openly, but inside he must feel restless and uneasy until he actually sees you and your little one succeed in going through the labor process.

The second fear is the fear of the future. As the head of the family, it is normal for him to worry about his family life in the future. The moment your little one’s presence will make him realize that now his responsibilities are getting bigger and the needs that must be met will be even more.

The last one is worrying about changes in your relationship with him as husband and wife. Your husband might worry if the affection between the two of you will diminish because of the presence of your little one. You may be too busy and tired of taking care of your little one and forget to pay attention to your husband’s needs. This is the biggest fear.

Tips for Overcoming That Fear

As a good wife, of course there is nothing wrong if you take a moment to pay attention to the conditions and needs of your husband in the midst of the hustle and bustle of labor preparation. Just do the following tips and you will definitely be able to help reduce or at least comfort your husband when he feels anxious and afraid.

First, convince your husband that he will definitely make a great husband and father. Praise him with all his strengths and provide motivation so that he doesn’t have to worry too much about the future of his family. Tell him that he will be a great father, husband and worker, who can meet all the needs of the household. Also give encouragement and encouragement so that he doesn’t become lethargic.

Second, make an appointment with your husband to spend time on weekends just for the two of you. There is no need to go outside the house if conditions are not possible. Simply chatting and relaxing on the porch of the house or watching a movie together at home is enough to bring your relationship together as husband and wife
