2. Lack of fruit and vegetables
Fruits and vegetables that contain vitamin D, vitamin K, potassium and magnesium play an important role in maintaining healthy bones. Inadequate nutritional needs will result in disorders of health conditions, one of which is osteoporosis.
3. Too much consumption of red meat and soft drinks
If you consume too much red meat and soft drinks it will cause health problems. Both of these foods contain phosphorus which will stimulate parathyroid hormone which causes the release of calcium in the blood, this is what triggers osteoporosis at a young age.
4. Too much alcohol and caffeinated drinks
Drinks that contain alcohol and caffeine often cause bones that are damaged, porous and experience brittle. In a study, it was revealed that the relationship between caffeine-containing drinks will result in bone loss because those who consume caffeine often contain lots of calcium from bone formation besides caffeine and alcohol which will inhibit the process of bone mass formation.
Smoking habits in addition to endangering heart health can also lead to osteoporosis. The chemical content will damage bone cells thus inhibiting the absorption of calcium. Even for women, smoking can block the function of the hormone estrogen, which protects bones.
6. The wrong diet
The pattern of life that is often done by women today is doing a wrong diet to lose weight. The wrong diet will reduce the intake of healthy foods, one of which is calcium so that those of you who are going on a diet should be based on the recommendation of a nutritionist and not go on an excessive strict diet.
Thus a healthy lifestyle will help maintain bone health and slow down the occurrence of osteoporosis at a young age, thereby helping to maintain health in old age with optimal bone health.
