Tips for Restoring Body Fitness After Childbirth

Whereas for those of you who have a caesarean delivery, you can be patient in doing sports activities after giving birth because the recovery time is longer than normal delivery. Research also does not recommend postpartum exercise with high intensity because it will affect levels of lactic acid in breast milk. 1. Start with a leisurely walk

You can take the time to take a leisurely walk in the morning or evening. The thing you need to remember is that it is not how far you take a leisurely walk but a regular schedule so that you can get in shape.

2. Yoga

Yoga is an exercise in flexibility and muscle strength, for those of you who follow yoga exercises, they will be calmer and avoid stress. At least this can help you from the baby blues that are often experienced by new mothers giving birth.

3. Don’t forget breakfast

For those of you who want to restore fitness after giving birth, don’t forget to get used to breakfast. With breakfast, your energy needs are met and fatigue will be reduced, try not to consume excess food at breakfast because it will interfere with your activities which causes drowsiness.

4. Eat foods that contain fiber

Eat foods that contain fiber which can provide an energy boost to your body. Don’t forget to get used to drinking water according to your body’s needs. This also helps you to avoid dehydration.

5. Listen to your favorite music

Every now and then you can indulge in a routine of caring for your baby. While your baby is sleeping, you can listen to your favorite music which can be a therapy in itself so that your mind is more relaxed and comfortable. Even listening to music will relieve fatigue in your body.

6. Doing spa or massage by an expert

The last step you can take to restore your fitness is to do a spa or massage. After giving birth, massage is usually focused on the calves, thighs and breasts. The thighs and calves are often complained of by mothers after giving birth due to the tension they experience during childbirth. Meanwhile, the breast is related to the smoothness of breast milk.
