After tracing it, it was the concentration that triggered the problem of children’s interest in learning to decrease.

Concentration problems in children can be indicated if their attention is easily distracted and distracted. Children have difficulty focusing on listening to one thing. This is what makes children often have difficulty solving a problem that occurs to them. However, new parents can conclude that their child has difficulty concentrating, when the power of concentration is different when compared to other normal children.

If this happens to children, parents should respond wisely. Do not jump to conclusions and sentence a child who is easily distracted by new things around him as a child with low concentration. When children are a little easily distracted by other conditions around them, this is natural, because they are in the process of learning to think and analyze cause and effect. It’s just that, the concentration of children who are constantly disturbed, cannot be ignored. Especially when facing the exam season, where the child’s concentration and memory are required to be optimized as much as possible, besides that, the learning process should be carried out intensively so that the child gets the desired results. However, in the learning process at home, children often experience difficulty in concentration which makes them unable to think clearly and tends to quickly end the learning process even though they are not finished.

Here are some tips that parents can do to help their children improve their concentration while studying.

1. Give Adequate Rest Time

When the child’s body is tired, you should not force him to continue to be exposed to assignment books and continue his learning. Let the child rest enough, because even if forced, their learning will be less than optimal. For example, when children just come home from school, get them used to getting enough naps. This will make their brain and physical rest and regain energy, so that when they wake up later, the children will be refreshed to think. In addition, set their bedtime at night, so they don’t sleep too late. The sleep pattern of children who are irregular or don’t get enough sleep at night will affect their concentration in the morning.

2. Prioritize So that Children Complete Tasks First

In order for children to get full concentration while studying, it is better if the child is to complete the task until it is complete. Do not interrupt study time by having your children do other homework. This will only split his concentration and energy in half.

3. Take Control of Time to Watch Television and Use of Other Gadgets

Everything that is excessive is never good, this is what happens to children in today’s generation, where they start getting addicted to gadgets and watching television shows. When children are addicted to this media, their focus will be taken up a lot by the media. To regain his concentration while studying, arrange the child’s time with TV and gadgets so that it is not too intense.
